Foothill Cross Country 2023


Welcome to the 2023 cross country season. We will begin intramural practices starting Tuesday, May, 30th. We will begin the season with strength training and light mileage at practice. The majority of the miles have to be done on your own for the first couple weeks. There will be a mandatory parent meeting on June 15th in Room 254 at 5:30 PM. All of the practice times and locations will be on the calendar.  


Practice Reminders:


  • Drink plenty of water everyday (Not just the day of practice. Also, stay away from soda, juices, and energy drinks)
  • Eat healthy and consistantly (Eating a bag of chips and drinking a Redbull does not count as breakfast) 
  • Bring water everyday to practice 
  • Be on time, everytime
  • Invest in some good running shoes 
All Cross Country athletes need to report to the track on Monday night at 6:30 pm. If you have not practiced with us all summer or are an incoming freshman I look forward to meeting you. If you have a completed Registermyathlete, you will practice. If you have not completed RMA, you still need to show up for information on how to complete your RMA. Please check the Foothill website for practice schedules this weekend.
