Fine Arts
Foothill Fine Arts Department offers students a variety of learning experiences including beginning Art I, Drawing, Painting, AP Studio, and Ceramics. Art students work in a relaxed studio environment to hone their artistic skills, learn new techniques, various materials, and art history, all while focusing on the elements and principles of design. These skills offer students a wide range of abilities that can be utilized in all other aspects of their education and will help them think critically in abstract ways to be successful in our ever-evolving digital world. Students at Foothill also have the opportunity to participate in Art Club after school to enhance their extra-curricular involvement, foster their creativity and make new friends while completing arts-related community service.
