CTE QPR Visit

What
CTE QPR Visit
When
10/16/2025, 8:00 AM 10:00 AM

Foothill High School’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs of study (POS) will undergo a pilot Quality Program Review (QPR) during the 2025-26 school year.

This means that the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) has scheduled a QPR site visit to walk through all spaces where CTE students and teachers are conducting activities and learning, including classrooms, labs, shops, and other related areas on Oct 16, 2025 at 8:00 AM.

NOTE:  There will be NO additional evidence required, and NO formal interviews of teachers, counselors, or administrators conducted during the site visit.

The visit is estimated to take approximately two(2) hours and will focus on accessibility and safety for students, teachers, and guests.

In the meantime, please review the linked documents below for potential items that NDE may be looking for during their site visit. The nondiscrimination poster must be displayed in every CTE classroom, lab, and counseling area accessible to students at the school.

Please develop a guided tour schedule of all CTE classrooms and lab spaces. Teachers and students do not need to be present in the classroom or lab during the walk-through.

Keep in mind that the QPR is currently in a pilot phase for a revised QPR process and site visit. As such, NDE may not exactly follow the guidance in the linked documents, since they are planning to use information from these visits to update the process.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out. I am happy to meet with you and your CTE team to answer any questions or provide additional support.
